We didnt think about anyone else or even care about current fashion. We just like to be in our own world all dressed up and talking about some old crazy lady we just discovered from the past or researching weird stuff and sharing it with eachother. Chromium Dumb Belle is a friendship thing too."</span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'lucida grande';"><br /><br />Although I'm not from a fashion background, this artist really captured my attention. She was just such a bizarre character, almost like a little thrift store imp who was intent on creating magical appliques and embroidery spells for only her own amusement. She talked of her vivid imagination and her love of story telling through her work it just kind of make me feel all inspired and excited.<br /><br />I can appreciate that her style of working is so completely different from mine, but i was trained as an illustrator and have always been fascinated by the process of story telling.
